MAKING A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION
At the desk top of the computer,
Click on Start
Click on Programs, MS Office and PowerPoint.
A PowerPoint slide will open
Type in Your Title
Click to add text in one box.
Design - Click on design to chose your favorite style.

Adding clip art and photos There are several ways to place photos and clip art in your slide show.

If you click on the clip art icon, a menu will appear and you can probably choose clip art from the computer files. Adding clip art
When you double click on the icon, the clip art menu will open on the right side of the screen.

Type in a general word to search clip art, like “Vietnam” Scroll through the clip art.
“Double click” on the clip art you like
You will see it appear on the slide.

Many beautiful photos are on the Internet. Don’t use any that are copywritten.
Inserting a photo you chose on the Internet
Double click on the photo icon in the photo box. photo. (With your mouse, click with the right button) Save it to your "my photos" file in your scan disk.

To insert a picture you have saved, click on my pictures file,
And click on the picture you want to use.

To insert a new slide Click on insert in the menu
Click on insert a new slide. It will appear on the screen.
Type in a sentence or two
Save your presentation to your scan disk.
Then continue to add another slide.
Be sure to Save!!!to your memory stick
If you save it on the lab computer, you will lose your work

To see your slide show,
Click on View
Click on slide show
Click on the arrow to see the next slide.
Add a “The End” slide
Now it’s your turn to practice.
