Mid Term Evaluation - Video Game Presentation – Please avoid extremely violent or explicitly inappropriate games.
Each member of your group will have 5 sentences to speak about your choice of video game. The sentences should be written out and SCRIPTED. Total possible points – 140
1. 20 points - Correct Focus Words --Underline the main focus word or words in each sentence. Your word(s) will be louder and longer.
2. 20 points – Correct Syllabication -- For each focus word, put a stress mark over the syllable with the strongest stress.
3. 20 points- Correct Pronunciation - 20 Points – Correct pronunciation of th, s and end consonants t, d and K. Be sure you can pronounce your word correctly; Use the computer for an electronic dictionary to hear and practice saying your word correctly.
4. 20 points – Intonation - For each sentence, put in marks for jump up stepdown intonation or glildes up or down . If intonation is a downward glide or an upward glide, note with arrows.
5. 20 points – linking - Put link marks on at least 10 end consonants that link to the beginning of the next ext word.
